A lifelong pork industry professional, Gary owns and operates J & M Ledger Farms LLC in Washington, Iowa. The farm focuses on crop production and continues the family’s agricultural legacy. In addition, Gary is a Key Account Manager for Topigs Norsvin USA, where he supports genetic advancements and the success of swine producers nationwide.
Over nearly 40 years, Gary has held leadership roles with Premier Pork Systems, PIC USA, and Topigs Norsvin. He also founded and operated Ledger Swine Farms Inc., a successful genetic production and sales operation, before selling the business in 2019.
Gary is a member of the pork industry community, having contributed to genetic development and production advancements throughout his career. He earned a degree in Farm Operations from Iowa State University.
