Production Resources 

• The Iowa Pork Industry Center at Iowa State University brings together departments and colleges at the university, along with partners outside of the university, which work together to provide education and training for swine producers, as well as cooperate to conduct research to fill knowledge gaps. Under their Programs tab, you'll find information about their webinars, workshops, and conferences; while under the Resources tab, you'll find webinars and fact sheets about topics ranging from swine health, facilities, niche production, to animal nutrition, animal welfare, and economics and marketing.

• The U.S. Pork Center of Excellence is a public/private partnership that includes land grant universities, state pork associations, the National Pork Board and the National Pork Producers Council. One of its programs is the Pork Information Gateway that includes videos, fact sheets and how-to guides on swine related topics.

• Current market information, pork export data, and information about the pork cutout are available on the Pork Checkoff markets site.

•  The Pork Checkoff also provides information about production and management resources including the Common Swine Industry Audit, the Pork Cares Farm Impact Report which measures on-farm sustainability data, and AgView, a pig contact tracing platform.
